The modern world often focuses on competition - faster, more, better than others. But in our school we believe that children learn the most not when they have to win with a friend, but when they create something together. Cooperation is not only a nice atmosphere. It is learning communication, empathy, sharing ideas and responsibility. Solving problems together teaches much more than competing for a grade or first place. This does not mean that we ignore effort and striving for perfection. On the contrary - we focus on the development of internal motivation, not on comparing ourselves with others. Instead of asking "who is better?", we ask:
"What did you learn today?",
"What can you do differently?",
"How can you help others?"
Children who can cooperate build stronger relationships, cope better in life and are more willing to take on challenges. And yet it is precisely such adults that we want to raise - conscious, active and attentive to others.
